Cortical Cooling Device
Project Overview
The project to design a cortical cooling device has been changed because a previous device has been created for that function. The current project is to create a feline acoustic and visual orienting arena. The arena will be designed in an approximately 6ftx6ftx6ft room. The goal is for a sound from a random location to be created and for a cat in the middle of the arena to walk to the location of that sound. Once the cat goes to the location where it heard the sound it will press a switch. If the cat goes to the correct location it will receive a reward, if it goes to the wrong location it will not. This will serve as a control test for the research of Dr. Tom Yin.
