Automated quality assurance system for clinical CT systems
Project Overview
Quality assurance as it pertains to computed tomography (CT) systems requires testing at multiple intervals. Depending on the interval, ranging from daily to annual, the tests will vary in complexity. In order to track performance, the test results are currently entered by hand into a spreadsheet based program. Therefore, the implementation of an automated system is desired. Ideally the system will be capable of reading and evaluating DICOM images before generating a report and recording the test in a database.
