Left ventricular pressure monitoring device for preclinical murine cardiovascular research models

Project Overview
Our client currently uses mouse catheters to measure the pressure in the left ventricular of a mouse. These experiments are used to test drugs on the hearts and see the response of the heart. Currently, there is no commercialized moue catheter, and our client makes them himself. The current way is very time consuming as the catheters don't work the first time, so they must be remade multiple times. There are also some inconsistencies in the literature because there is no standard way to make a mouse catheter. Our goal is to create a catheter that is easier to make and more consistent in results. Which could possibly be scaled up to a commercial product.
