Assistive device to help wheelchair users hoist pants all the way up
Design and develop a prototype that helps a person in a wheelchair with limited arm strength pull up pants independently.
Project Overview
A person with muscular dystrophy can have physical limitations that make it difficult to perform activities such as pulling up pants. Current solutions are costly and require too much arm strength or assistance finishing the task from able-bodied caregivers. The goal of this project is to create a prototype solution that allows someone with limited arm strength to independently put on their pants.
