Creation of a surgical breast pedicle dissector for breast reduction safety
Project Overview
Our goal is to design a device that will hold the breast pedicle, which delivers blood and nerves to the nipple, in place during breast reduction surgery. The device will protect the pedicle by placing spikes in the tissue to form a guidline for the surgeon to cut along while removing excess breast tissue
