Project Overview
During intubation, medical professionals struggle to regulate the temperature of internal organs due to heat filtration through the body. In other words, external heating and cooling is less effective due to the human body response of keeping one’s internal temperature (i.e. temperature of internal organs) at body temperature. Due to this mechanistic characteristic, the team aims to create a device that can present a temperature change of internal organs through heat transfer through the blood vessels and lungs.
