Create an automatic pill dispensing device that assists those who take prescription medications in adhering to their dosage schedule

Project Overview

Patients who struggle with memory loss or who have physical limitations struggle with medication adherence need an automated pill dispenser with visual and auditory alerts to assist their medication administration. Our task is to create a convenient automated pill dispenser that supplies the patient with their required dosage up to 4 times per day for 7 days of the week. In addition we have been tasked with dispensing pills to the patient as needed at their request. These two mechanisms will be combined into one device in order to take the burden of taking medication off of the patient.
