Project Overview
The goal of this project is to create a single-use, disposable device that elevates the impacted fetal head from the pelvis in a safe and easy way to limit complications during a cesarean section. The fetal cap should be placed around the fetal skull with handles that can sit lateral to the head and up to the level of the cesarean incision. The handles will be grasped by a physician from the abdominal incision and will provide the traction needed to disimpact the fetal head, allowing for an easier cesarean delivery.
